I have to agree with Steve, Coverdales voice is shot.
Particularly during the first half of the set, he was leaning heavily on the backing vocals (I noticed the new recruits can all sing, probably a requirement of the job these days) and a lot of audience participation.
I thought the second half was much better - DC was warmed up & making the most of what he still has, but that is nowhere near what he used to have:-(
I suspect we are seeing the end of Whitesnake on this tour, if Coverdale does record again it will probably be under his own name & a more mellow laid back sound (as he has tried to do before).

Leppard however were better than I was expecting, Joe sounded pretty good (within his limitations - he never was a great singer).
Slightly suprised by how much of a greatest hits set they played.

We missed the start of Black Stone Cherry due to early start time and the sound was not exactly good, but they still proved that they are a great band. I am looking forward to the new album & december tour.
