How do you decide what to listen ?

I guess most of visitors of this board own hundreds, even thousends of CDs of melodic rock music and others kind. So how do you decide which albums to listnen to ? For sure the latest releases are first in line, but what about older stuff ? And how long per day you listen to music ?

Well, at the moment I dont find too much time to listen. Mostly at work, but there you just cant concentrate 100% on music, so it is not the best environment. And I mostly listen to new stuff, there is no time for the old ones. And I listnen probably 2 to 3 hours per day.
