That sounds amazing. Wish I'd been there. Was the bassist Phil Soussan? He played with Richie and Pat when they toured in the UK a few years ago. I saw them at The Peel in Kingston. Amazing to see that calibre of musician in such a small intimate setting.
Regarding Mr Big, I echo what everyone else has been saying - one of my favourite bands ever, but I cannot see Eric and Billy on the same stage, sadly. And a Mr Big without either one of them is unthinkable. But they've left a legacy of some amazing albums and DVDs.
On the subject of Richie Kotzen, how does anyone play guitar so good, and yet have a voice that 99% of vocalists would give their voicebox for? The guy's so talented, it's sickening!
