Daren had made an official comment (on this very phorum) about the floods delaying the sending out of tickets. I pointed out that I had received a CD order from a vendor in Tewkesbury (and nowhere was affected by the floods worse than that - if media coverage was anything to go by). No response from him to that comment or to my first email began to make me feel twitchy.

I am not one prepared to allow Daren to keep my £22. I would have been if he had been perfectly up front, communicable and sought support from the scene to help make this a real success.

What really distresses me, is that Daren does not appear to have been in communication with the bands appearing ahead of the public announcement, and from what Bruce has posted (ebove) Mad Max were still unaware of the problems long after the annoucement here!

I have now seen far too much of bands not telling their label they are finishing, event organisers not telling bands the event is cancelled etc. I was still prepared to believe we lived in an honourable community, but with a few starred exceptions I now have very serious doubts.
