Ahhh... fair enough. We book in advance, but don't pay in advance. In fact, even whem booking personally, I never pay in advance .. usually it's just giving credit card details to hold the room. Hmmmm... if paying in advance gets you a cheaper rate, I'll have to look into that ...

As regards why people buying direct from Thunderground don't have same rights ... well obviously Rock City haven't seen a penny of those tickets, but still have the money for tickets bought direct. So they can off-set agaisnt direct ticket sales ... but effectively, this is a different show as far as Rock City are concerned ...the original organiser cancelled, so now they and Rock-It are trying to still get Wig Wam to play. It would be nice if they could just say 'Sure, ANYONE who bought a Thunderground ticket is still free to attend', but as they won't get a penny from the direct sales, then I guess they won't. As said elsewhere, those buying direct should get refunds from Daren, and pay for separate ticket for Wig Wam + Dante Fox. It's all about WHO is putting the show on and paying for everything now.
