Re: Stating the obvious ...

Most of the hotels I use when I travel have a 'no refund' policy in the case of cancellation. Even the Crowne Plaza, were I to cancel my 2 night reservation for Firefest, would charge me one night's stay ie £86, whether I cancelled 2 days before, or 6 months before. The £99 I've forked out for Thunderground is not refundable, as stated in the hotel's email here
"Cancellation policy
Non Refundable in the event of cancellation"
It's the same with a large number of flights/train fares, altho not all, obviously.
I wasn't aware that it had only sold 300 tix, I read it as Rock City had sold 200+ and so had Thunderground, thereby making it near capacity level. I'm still deffo going but I was just wondering why the people who've bought direct from Thunderground didn't have the same 'validity' that's all.
As for the obvious, well I have blonde hair, that's my excuse ;-)
