I'm glad it's still going on and exceedingly grateful to those who are making it possible, but can I just ask *why* peeps who've bought tix direct from Thunderground won't be afforded the same 'validity' as those who bought direct from Rock City/ticket outlets?
If I don't go, I'm £140 out of pocket for the hotel and travelling itself from Brighton; a friend of mine is flying down from Scotland and her flight alone cost £189 plus the £99 for the hotel.... obviously we'll want to go to this gig but (as it is for many many people), it's a bloody long way to come with no guarantee of getting in.
I don't understand why tickets just can't be on sale a couple of days before via the Rescue Rooms online facility (and peeps just get refunds on the Thunderground tix from their point of sale) so everyone who's made non-refundable travel/hotel arrangements can be guaranteed of getting in? Or perhaps could Daren not give the Rescue Rooms a list of those who've ordered direct from Thunderground and at least we'd know we would deffo get in?
Or am I missing something here and being really thick?
