To all
You will not be guaranteed a entrance to The Rescue Rooms if you purchased your ticket from the Thunderground festival organiser. The announcement on the Wig Wam site will be amended as soon as possible.
However we are working to ensure that anyone who purchased a ticket diredtly from Nottingham Rock City box office will be provided with a partial refund.
Dave No#1 and I will discuss the logistics of this to ensure that those individuals will get preferential entrance to The Rescue Rooms venue.
Afterall we could have all just said "forget it" like the other bands and not bothered trying desperatley hard to ensure the fans are not dissapointed. My telephone bill for the last two days is going to require a second mortgage. LOL
We have however worked very hard, with plenty of negotiation to still try and come over to play the UK, All of this has been acheived in less than two days.
If you want to see Wig Wam and Dante Fox I suggest you get there early to avoid dissapointment. As soon Dave confirms the door opening times, admission fee and what time each band is playing, you will be able to judge for yourselves when you should consider arriving.
Bear in mind we knew that we had fans flying in from all over Europe to see the festival. who had not only purchased airline tickets but hotel reservations too. To that end Wig Wam and our Management company wanted to at least salvage something.
Lots of this has been done now at our very own cost to make this work for fans of melodic Rock and the scene in general. Lots has been discussed about the scene in recent days and the lack of support people are giving it. Show them they are wrong and turn up and have a great time!!
I do appreciate that it is regrettable; that some of you may have to pay out again for the entrance into The Rescue Rooms and that your financial commitments will not stretch to cover the cost of this gig also.
The band and I do hope some of you will come to support us and have great event on the day. I also would like to thank Dante Fox for stepping in as support on the day, they are a great band also and worth checking out too.
