If, as we all agree, one of the biggest problems is the cost of getting to these shows, why not web cast them and charge the viewer to watch them? They can be done live and then repeated allowing the purchaser to pay one price for two viewings. Now, those that genuinely are unable to get to the gigs have no excuse to partake, do they?

I have no doubts at all that the technology to do this is well within the grasp of all involved in organising these events and it is, I believe, one way of ensuring that these gigs are successful.
