Met a few really great artists in the past few years...
Bob Catley - fantastic bloke! Spent ages signing about 20 CD sleeves for me even though he was knackered after the gig, and was really happy to see the fans even though the turn-out wasn't very good that night. Fantastic performer and all round good guy.
Mitch Malloy - Spoke for ages and offered to get me into The Gods for free because I was a penniless student and had huge debts at the time! Really generous and down to earth! Talked about working with Desmond Child, Mark Free, etc.
Danny Vaughn - Met him lots of times and he always remembered me. Very friendly, approachable, and always willing to pose for a photograph or sign a CD.
Mikey Jones (KICK) - Bumped into him at a Vaughn gig and we spent about an hour chatting about XL, Freefall, Kick, etc. Even hung around after the gig while I hurried home to get some stuff for him to sign. Good bloke!
Paul Hodson - Great sense of humour - shocked him by pulling out a copy of John Parr's Man With a Vision for him to sign - he didn't have a copy of it himself! Nice guy!
Vince O Reagen - Very open and approachable, feet on the ground. Always has time to talk to the fans.
... Of course, the ones I really want to meet are Jim Steinman, Gary Hughes, and Jim Peterik. Hell, if I met Steinman I could die happy!
