Sorry Jack, its just my personal opinion that Criss WAS Savatage. Even with Jon gone for EOT it was still vintage Savatage sound and writting. But with the loss of Criss all of that changed drasticly. Now those later albums COULD be considered as good by some but I feel they shouldn't be titled under banner of Savatage.

Chris Caffery is great on Dr. Buther but can't be compared to Criss on any level. Skolnick, Pitrelli and Frost couldn't be further from what Criss was. The entire chemistry changed with his death, with that you must agree if you are an old school fan of the band. I did enjoy parts of Magellen but it isn't even in the same class as Criss era Savatage.

I know I'm out numbered on this thought but thats my opinion.
