I agree with the comments on Selectadisc. Nottingham has lost a couple of decent record shops in the last few years and Selectadisc is now your best bet.
Nottingham Castle, whilst not exactly matching anybodies vision of Robin Hoods time, is OK for a walk round. The Galleries of Justice in the Lace Market are interesting if you like history.
Also the Caves of Nottingham are worth a look and are accessed from the Broad Marsh Shopping Centre.
As far as pubs go the Trip to Jerulsalem if OK but watch out for the local "characters" trying to blag dinks from tourists.
