I actually asked on MySpace.com for suggestions for FF3, so no problem with people making suggestions. We already have a few ideas in mind.

However, of course there won't BE a FF3 unless FF2 more than breaks even, so everyone get your friends to come along and support the scene.

I've heard - 2nd hand - a few moans regarding FF2 .... Danger Danger toured earlier, Harem Scarem were boring live at the Gods (I disagree, but anyway, the band have taken that criticism constructively, so certainly WON'T be boring at FF2), House of Lords are nothing without Giuffria (gimme a break!), Danny Vaughn toured last year (uuhhh...yeah, but THIS set will be totally different, and KILLER), the first 3 bands on the bill look boring in compared to the headliners (ONLY if you are an out & out AOR fan. Saracen and Power Quest gained the major plaudits - and highest scores in Powerplay - for Bloodstock a few years back, and are both terrific live. And Balance of Power are always great live, and will be showcasing their new vocalist and playing quite a few songs off their debut, AOR friendly CD).

So hey, even if THIS line-up doesn't completely float your boat, if you are into melodic hard rock and WANT a regular festival to promote the genre and bring some of YOUR fave bands over, then give us your support.

Things seem to be going reasonably well so far. Of the 250 Friday pre-show tickets available, we have sold over 220 so far. So anyone still wanting to get to that should order their tickets very soon.
(As a reminder: Blue Tears, playing a completely different set from the Saturday, Nexx, playing a mixture of originals and covers, and great local band Double Cross, with a 4th band likely to be added).
