IMO, why would you suggest music from a lineup that no longer exists?
First, I think you should get to know the Journey that IS. Then go back and listen to the Journey that was.

I DO say you should listen to "Generations" first.

Departure
Frontiers
Escape
Infinity
Evolution
THEN You STILL need to check out the first three albums to understand where Journey came from!
