I'm a HUGE Journey fan and I'd recommend the album that hooked me..........

DEPARTURE

After that get the live album

CAPTURED

....then get ESCAPE and FRONTIERS.
All of those albums are absolutely essential, imho.

For the newer band's stuff ARRIVAL is outstanding.
