When the album was released in LP format as a double album. sides 1 and 2 were tremendous. great to listen to after a night down the boozer. sides 3 and 4 didnt work for me. David Essex and Julie Covington were never my favourite artists.
Re the recent movie, I think you are all being rather harsh. It is a superb piece of escapism. an old story given anew slant. We tend to be very critical of big movies, with preconceived ideas. I went with an open mind and thoroughly enjoyed it.
