'Generations' / 'Jupiter's Darling'?

I'm reading the reviews as they come in,and I have to say that I'm still quite nervous about whether I'll like this new Journey. More and more it's sounding comparable to that last Heart cd-'Jupiter's Darling'. Quite a few fans raved over that one, too. But it's a grungy, under produced mess of mostly uninteresting,MODERN sounding garage rock! Hard to believe that band would actually make something that sounds like their home city of Seattle-grunge! I will say that I loved the cover artwork for J'sD,but the music really let me down-espescially after waiting so long for a new release from the band. I'm only hoping that the great artwork for 'Generations' doesn't hide another disappointing cd by a favorite band of mine! Sometimes I read reviews that are so positive and wonder what the 'H' the reviewer is listening to and how they can compare it to other great albums by that particular artist. And then theres the disgruntled reviewer who trashes something that's great-as in the Soul Sirkus cd. Is the original of SS that much different souding than the updated version? If the production is bad, I understand how that can affect a fan's viewpoint as well. And the new Journey sounds like it falls into that category, sadly. Any thoughts?
