I remember listening to my brothers tapes of Slippery; Final Countdown, Appetite for destruction and Michael Jacksons Bad when I was around 6. This probably shaped me alot.

But it wasnt until I was 12 and I got to hear Nirvana and Poison for the first time and got hooked on both. I would lose interest in Nirvana the following 2 years as everybody seemed to listen to them and I wanted something "that no one else has" (and I dont mean gonorrhoea or diarrhea ;-).

So i decided to make Poison my favourite band and try to know as many glam metal bands as possible (which werent much back then,without the internet etc..) and remember being quite proud (for whateve reason) to know everything about Poison, Def Lep, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper etc... AND being the only one knowing most of the bands...... Later on around 17 I´d discover Melodic rock like Dare, Ten or CITA........ And I gotta admit that I didnt know a single Journey tune up until 3 - 4 years ago.........
