I was absolutley in Lancaster in the days of the Fat Scott, Tramway and Boars Head. A trimuverate of Rock pubs all within staggering distance of one another... and then the bus from Dalton Square to the Gardens to round off the evening.

Also remember many dodgy evenings at Wharton Grange (saw FM there, as well as a few other bands)

Actually used to DJ in the Boars Head for a whil in 1991-92 and also did some evenings in the Scott & Tranway covering fro Phil when he was out on the p**s. The Mrs also used to work behind the bard in the Boars as well.. We ended up being locals rather than students and eventually left Lancaster in 1997 after 10 great yeats there..

Still have loads of friends in the area and get back as often as we can, but it just a shame that once was a thriving rock community in now seems to have been overlooked in favour of too many trendy pubs and vine bars.

Definitely saw Roxx Gang at the Gardens, if I remember right didn't Ivory Web support them?
