I definitely read it, but based on what I've seen and heard, I take everything he says with a huge grain of salt these days.

All of those interviews were long after SA was out of the band. I know for a FACT that the night SA was told to pack his bags he was not happy about it.

I didn't say anything about his termination being a positive reflection. I did say the band carried him along for years. If they are resorting to crutches (auto-tune, tapes etc) on previous earlier tours, how could the guys know 2005 was vastly different? They had a singer who basically just couldn't cut it anymore - and it was getting worse.

And SA really wasn't really used as a scapegoat. Ross vehemently denied the use of tapes. Neal will talk about it in private but not in public. They allowed him to exit under the guise of medical reasons. The majority of fans/audiences have no clue about it to this day. What is your solution?

I think by 2005, the band had lost faith in his abilities. Again, there were so many ups and downs and they started very early on in his tenure.

Regarding recovery time, Augeri even said in an interview that they canceled a South American tour one time when he was sick. I'll try to dig up the quote for you.

How long was the current band off before this farewell tour? 2 years? And people are still pretending as if they have driven Arnel into the ground.

Yes, but there is a perception that the band is keeping the songs in the original Perry key, which is unnecessarily harming their vocalists. It's not true.

The only reason I'm aware of a tour being canceled for Augeri when he was sick is because he mentioned it in an interview. I'll try to dig up the quote for you. There certainly could be others we don't know about.
