Augeri has spoken in interviews about how his doctors told him he had to stop/get away from touring, and how continuing could result in permanent loss of his voice. In fact he even mentions it in the interview with Andrew. You really think he wouldn't tell the rest of the band about that. Clutching at straws there...

I love how you even try to make the fact that they fired Steve a positive reflection on Schon and Cain...they fired him after the fact that he was using tapes became public knowledge in order to use him as a scapegoat and try and safe face. If you don't believe that, then you really must be fan boying, I'm afraid...

Considering how Augeri contributes his voice issues to excessive touring, his voice not getting enough of a break (and a serious bout of pneumonia) - I'd say that that is quite a big deal...he clearly wasn't given the time that he needed to recover.

You keep talking like lowering the key is a big deal....99% of bands at that kind of age do it. If they don't want to do that, then they should hire a female or 20 year old.

How many tours have the cancelled because of Arnel? I can't think of any. The odd show here and there maybe, but whole tours? I may be wrong.

All this stuff that you mention, it's things that every band does when their singers get older, it's how they are able to keep going, as if the singer can't sing there is no show - Journey don't deserve to be praised to doing what everyone else is doing in order to "help their singers carry on" or rather "help themselves continue to make money..."

We are never going to see eye to eye on this so no point dragging it on...
