What you're really doing is just making stuff up...

Nothing in Neal's response implies that he threatened AP with a lawsuit.
NS stated that decisions are made collectively as a team and with everybody's agents. He also said something to the effect that nobody is prevented from making personal decisions.

Based on what I have seen from Pineda and have heard from others, I don't really give him the benefit of the doubt anymore. His constant ploys for sympathy/attention have grown tiresome and he has as much credibility as Perry's hip accident story. Time for change.
