Famously with Kiss, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss were notoriously missing from various recording sessions - in particular from memory the songs from the studio side of Alive 2, the whole of Dynasty, the whole of Unmasked and the whole of Psycho Circus - where Paul Stanley was quoted saying the album was recorded by two band members and two lawyers.
