Well I disagree with you there. If you haven’t bought anything and have only listened to odd tracks and samples, your just not going to get to know the albums.

I will say that some of their songs simply don’t give you a full picture of what’s going on if you’re only listening to ITunes samples, as some of them have slow intros which may give the impression the whole song is like that and it’s certainly not the case.

I can’t make you or anyone else like a band but to suggest they can’t write hooks is way off the mark. Are you saying you like all Neal Morse’s stuff after one listen?

A lot of his music is way more complex and takes a good amount of listening to get into.

If you’ve not been impressed enough to give them a proper chance, why bother with each new album? Makes no sense to me but each to their own.
