I understand it just fine. It was an incoherent rant, but he made that point very clear. He was talking about that “ecosystem” that paid for it. Well, in the end the customer, the guy that bought the record paid for it. That’s us. And since there are not enough customers left that would purchase his music, no one is going to finance his efforts up front. So he needs to cut cost. Understandable. But why would I want to pay the same amount for a low cost product as for a premium product?
