He's not far wrong IMO with most of his examples although it's a bit weird to lead with CSN&Y being a flop when Crosby, Stills & Nash was itself a supergroup that can't be said to have been anything other than successful and influential. I'd give early Asia a pass too. But there are successes - sometimes musically not commercially - as well; UK, ELP, Bad Co. etc.
