That was likely mutual as well.. They were riding the highest high (in more ways than one) by the 1984 album and tour. Like ol' Dave's head wasn't big enough by that time.. adding fuel (success) to the fire surely made it impossible to be around him. They had to be more than happy to split ways,even tho it was a 'what now?' moment. Getting Hagar in sealed their continued success.. T
