...and not acknowledging the Sammy era is a huge diss on Ed Leffler aswell. I wonder what his family think of Al. He was there safety net right up til he died in late '93. After that is when all the shit started.
Als just got no respect for anyone.
I heard that he won't go into the Sammy era cause Eddie's substance abuse got worse, and he blamed it on tension with Sammy.
What's really weird with that comment is that Eddie and Sammy lived next to each other in Malibu from '86 to '93. The problems didn't start til Leffler died. It's all just pathetic excuses. Yes Ed was a legend, but him and Al had huge flaws and blamed their bad behaviour on everyone else. They screwed their own band
