The Beatles were a half decade removed from my time. My dad had the albums and I knew the singles. When I was older and I had a better understanding of influences and history It really blew my mind that a lot of the stuff that I loved and cherished had a big fat influence from this album. I can now see in my older, more mature age that the Beatles were in fact ground zero for every genre of music I love. I am just using this classic album as an example. It is crazy to me that "Revolver", "Rubber Soul", "Sgt Pepper" and "Let It Be" can still be experienced by us being we are still alive at the same time with half of the originators of this music.
