I liked him and Giant back in the day to some degree, but had others that made it into my "top guitarists" group (Blackmore, Schenker, Montrose, Emmett, DiMeola, etc.).

But after seeing many of his recent "tutorial-type" videos and those of him playing live, I would have to agree with you, Darren ... a legend and a genius. A true master of the instrument.
