Everyone jumped on that and assumed he meant the sound would be similar. It was nothing more than word play with album titles in the video Joey did to start the countdown to the single coming out.

Regarding the 80's sound. None of them came out and said our next album is going to sound like our early albums. They said they were noticing more elements of that style coming out in their writing, but never flatly said the new album would take everyone back to that era. I think many assumed that based on the comments that's what we were/are going to get, but realistically, that isn't likely going to happen. That's not to say that there could be some tracks that channel more of the original sound. Making a blanket statement that the first track is indicative of the whole album seems a bit naive.

I agree with Dave, this track is much less bluesy than much of the War of Kings or Walk the Earth material. It's probably one of their better attempts of melding both eras into a current track.
