Sounds fantastic. Good song. Great singing and playing. Sonically good.
It’s an extension of the direction they’ve been headed and I’m good with that. It’s 2026 and very few of these legacy bands and their members are going to be writing as if it’s 1986. They were young guys in a different world and time in their lives back 40 years ago. It would be ridiculous to have them trying or expect them to write / make TFC or OOTW mark IIs. If the record overall is in this ballpark I’ll be pleased.
I think overall post Start From The Dark they’ve been pretty good. A few track per album a little mehhh, but overall it’s good stuff. Secret Society perhaps the dark horse.
The new album cover is OK, but the concept would perhaps be better had it been painted, like Scorps did with Blackout.
