Listened to everything last night on y-tube except the covers. I like it alot--maybe not quite as much as the debut but it's pretty early to judge. it'll be very close as these songs are just as well done. THese guys have a real knack for this bygone type of melrock. Glad they recorded another one. As far as Deen's departure-- it's a real stretch to say the album misses his presence. This music ain't about the drums.per se. And Deen only sang one track on the debut,so...along with Jason & Jay,the 2 guitarists are fine vocalists (and players). i'll agree the album lacks a couple more rocked up songs that the debut had,but these are really strong tracks in their own right. Pretty sure I'll be ordering a copy soon...the 3 (4?) covers won't detract from that.. T
