Agree with your comments on True Blue which I think would've been better closing this album maybe had they sequenced all the older sung material through songs 1-7 would've sat better...
But couldn't disagree more regards Long Gone. Even without that classic era vocal that song smokes can only imagine how good it would've been had it been finished in his heyday, but even as is it's an absolute standout for my ears and think Lou still sounds great on that one.
Quite honestly would be a candidate for favourite song here \m/
