I'm with you Don. Both eras had something special. The Dave era was just plain fun with good party songs. It was very adolescent, but fun as hell.

With Sammy, it's like the band grew up. The music and lyrics got more on an adult level. It was still fun, but not as circus like.


It really was like two completely different bands and that is why I keep them separated in my personal playlists. They just don't fit together. But both totally awesome standing on their own.
