Don't really hear the Judas Priest connection either other than the title track of Headhunter, that one I could easily imagine Halford singing. Great album to this day, nothing ever came close. I like Metal Rendezvous for its diversity and The Blitz for its AOR sound. I didn't mind the more polished sound and Storace's smoother vocals at all. Hardware is by far their worst from those days, Once Vice At The Time had its moments but overall I didn't like the far too obvious attempts to clone AC/DC. Anything they did in this century I don't rate at all, especially the newer stuff with von Rohr on board again. Poor lyrics and once again the AC/DC sound mixed with a bit of ZZ TOP boogie. Horrid.
