I think the Valley Girl soundtrack might be the best I own. It came in two cd's with 31 total songs. This was how I discovered Modern English, the Payolas, The Plimsouls, Josie Cotton and the Psychedelic Furs.
Gary Myrick's "Time To Win" also an awesome song from the soundtrack.
