I don't think they would have reacted that way had Everton appointed Brendan Rodgers. Now that's a proper manager!
Benitez is solid, nothing more. Everton have been stagnating for a few years. I think they should have appointed an exciting younger manager, someone like an Eddie Howe. He did a great job at Bournemouth. Or Nuno Espirito Santo. He did a phenomenal job at Wolves!
