Blimey! That threw me. I can appreciate the voice can be an acquired taste but the early albums are great and 'Love After Death' hardly anyone heard which was a shame as it only got released in Japan or on Music For Nations (I think) in the UK. They were also great live.

The full-length documentary of their story is worth searching out on youtube.
