Indian themes, I don't mind. The basic point though is that the songs must match up. House of Shakira (speaking of other "house" bands...) is famous for putting odd themes in their music, but the songs are strong enough. With good songs, it doesn't matter. With poor songs, you can put all the technical stuff on there you want to dress it up and it still doesn't work. All I can say is here is hoping James Christian's solo album won't dissappoint also. Rude Awakening was quite good and I would hate to be underwhelmed twice.

speaking of UNDER-hyping, this is one release I am surprised that it hasn't been mentioned here before. Doesn't match the pure adrenaline of the Last Stand or the barroom improvisation of Swingshift, but they still have it. Probably the best blending so far of the many different Cold Chisel styles (rock, blues, pop, etc) and Jimmy Barnes is sounding better than he has for a LONG time. Now, if they would only just go ahead and do another studio album while everyone is getting along....
