While I was never quite so against the record and intially enjoyed it I quickly tired of Sugar and the OTT pop stuff particularly once I heard Pyromania soon after (lived quite the secluded childhood and had never heard it prior) can absolutely uunderstand your thoughts regards Hysteria.

That said I still think it has some great tracks a couple of which are as good as anything prior such as God's Of War, Don't Shoot Shotgun, Run Riot, Women and Wanna Be Your Hero etc, soft spot for Animal and Hysteria...

Anyway yeah, regardless can completely understand why fans could've been disappointed back in the day
