Re: Wildside UTI/Bad Reputation Records

Someone wondered if BR licensed the album from the French arm of Capitol, but Benny said it was never originally licensed for France to begin with. I don't know. The Bad Reputation remaster sounded fine to me, but I've only listened once and don't have the original to compare to. Considering copies in good condition are more than $30, I'll take my BR copy. I own a few releases from them and they all have 'eh'-quality art (the Danger Danger 'Screw It' was especially bad) and the mini essays were poorly written or translated, but it's nice to have some hard-to-find stuff on CD without having to possibly invite spyware on my PC from a download site.
It's a shame labels don't license stuff back out to the bands decades after the fact. I get why it doesn't happen for larger bands, but come on - Wildside isn't gonna take over the world in 2021, so Capitol isn't going to be put out of business by some small-time remaster company.
