I'm not so sure about that actually. I just read an article that indies are doing quite well at the moment saleswise, especially in the rock genre.
So many artists get lost on bigger labels these days.
It's better to be a big fish on a small label where at least you are guaranteed to get all they've got as opposed to the opposite. Of course I have experienced being on a small label recently and getting a whole lot of nothing. That never makes sense to me at all. But it's well worn ground with that particular label and there's no need to beat a dead horse as they say.
But I appreciate your point. As far as our past, I actually think that TNT has a better chance than band's that were bigger than we were. I think TNT was always considered a cool band by musicians and we were never huge enough to be considered a goofy hair band if you know what I mean. Not that there's anything wrong with that:)
Besides, the kids are digging the goofiness these days! he he.
