I beg to disagree. Both Randy and Jake brought a unique musical flavour. In a way neither Z or the Firewind guy did.

Sambora's voice and co-singing is essential to their sound. He is needed more than ever in that regard.

As long as one is willing to settle for a complete copy cat (I am impressed though how he pulls it off).
