Irreplaceable Lead Guitarists?

We often talk about irreplaceable singers- but it comes to your all-time favorite bands, who were the notable lead guitarists whose sound/style you consider so integral to the band that they couldn't be replaced- or if so, with who?

Arguably to various degrees imo many bands did it successfully (Thin Lizzy, Scorpions, UFO, Whitesnake, Europe, etc.) others not so much (Aerosmith, REO Speedwagon, Def Leppard)...

(2 that came to mind for me were Neal Schon in Journey and Ian Crichton in SAGA- I can't picture those bands with anyone else)
