Nope.
Gun Swagger is easily their best record. Gallus is great, but Swagger is close to my Top 10 of all time. As good as Gallus is, it's nowhere near my Top 100..
Holy Diver is widely regarded as Dio's best. I totally agree. Love Dio, but Holy Diver is an all time classic. No other solo record he did comes close to touching it. Last In Line maybe the closest with a couple of bonafide classic songs, but again, it's not a patch on the debut which is amazing from start to finish.
And Slaughter! Really? What other Slaughter record gets anywhere near the debut? Wild Life was hugely disappointing and everything after that was mediocre at best. Not sure what the confusion is about?
