You know, I love our American neighbors. I feel blessed to be able to consider the U.S.A. as friends, allies, and neighbors to Canada. (Yes, the extreme patriotism does get old - you know, the variety that continually states things like "We are the greatest nation in the world" and comes off more like arrogance than patriotism.) But, when it all comes down, I think very highly of Americans and want the best for them and their country.

That's why it's so sad, difficult, and disappointing to see what's happening there. And it's sadder still that so many folks are just blind to what/who Trump really is (I'm not referring to anyone here - I'm talking in very general terms.)
