Do you see how this just goes round and round if you’re dealing in general terms?

I’m not trying to get one over on anyone, but this ‘that’s a generalisation’ rebuttal just results in a vicious circle. We’re supposed to be adults here so why not have an adult conversation or debate where we understand that a generalisation isn’t meant as a definitive statement?
