It's really a scary time in our history. Truth and reality have been pushed aside in place of conspiracies and falsehoods.

Half of the country believes that Trump won the election. They believe that the people that stormed the capitol yesterday were Democrats in disguise. They believe it was all staged, a set up to make Trump look bad. There is nothing you can say or do to change that perception. They've been wronged, robbed, cheated. Yesterday was the start of a revolution - they're words. "Patriots" that removed the American flag and replaced it with a Trump flag. Saying it's time to "rise up".

That's frightening rhetoric and it's being flamed by the man at the top. An impeached, 2x popular vote loser, enabled by one side and never put in check.

Nothing should surprise me after the last 2-5 years, but this was truly awful to see yesterday.
