Mk2-In Rock, Machinehead and Perfect Strangers are among my favorite albums of all time. Ian Gillan is the voice of DP as far as I'm concerned.
Morse years-all of the albums are good, with Purpendicular being right up there with the best of their entire catalog.
Mk3- might have rated this era second if there were more than two albums. Burn was among their best while Stormbringer was just ok for me.
JLT- in reality a Rainbow album with the DP name attached.
Mk4- an ok album and Bolin was an incredible guitar player, but not really what I'm looking for from them.
Mk1-no thanks. Ranks right up there with pre-Schenker UFO and pre-Gorham/Robbo Thin Lizzy.
